Getting a mortgage with a seasonal job- Help!?

My husband %26amp; I are trying to getting a mortgage for 375 000. We currently are earning $5900 per month gross between the two of us. I am employeed year round but my husband is a seasonal worker (6 months in the summer) He will have another job over the winter months and has been offered a few positions at approximately the same rate he is receiving now.

How do we present this to a mortgage broker so they feel secure in giving us a mortgage?

Any suggestions would be great- thanks!Getting a mortgage with a seasonal job- Help!?
No mortgage lender will approve the loan you describe.

You will have to ask the seller of the house to accept monthly payments from you in order to avoid getting a bank loan. As long as you make the payments, you are the true owner of the home. Not a tenant. You can refinance later since you will have a track-record of on-time payments to present to a bank.Getting a mortgage with a seasonal job- Help!?
What kind of down payment are you looking to do?

With your income, you cannot afford a 375k house. Most you can do is about 210k.
$70,000 a year and you want a house worht almost $400,000?

Really?

That seems WAY over the top.
