How do I release a paid judgement required by conditions of a mortgage commitment letter from a bank?

Got a commitment letter with conditions. One of the conditions is to have a paid judgement (paid in 2001) to show as released.

Lender said that the credit bureau was unable to get information from the court.

Now lender is saying that they will have the title company clear it up. Can the title company clear it?

This is a paid judgement and my closing is on May 23 please help! How do I release a paid judgement required by conditions of a mortgage commitment letter from a bank?
You need to go to the lender that filed that judgment and tell them to send in a cancellation to be recorded in your county. If its in fact paid you can also request the pre-closer who is closing your loan to request a cancellation from the lender who filed the judgment against you to request a cancellation so that you can execute on the day of your closing. Your main thing is to get the cancellation of record. How do I release a paid judgement required by conditions of a mortgage commitment letter from a bank?
If you have your release from the paid judgment, all you have to do is record it at the Recorder of Deeds. If you paid it and did not receive a release, you must track down the attorney who handled it and get them to record the release.
