I have a mortgage with Chase. How can I get help from the Fed to get lower rates, principal, payment?

I read today they are helping homeowners.I have a mortgage with Chase. How can I get help from the Fed to get lower rates, principal, payment?
Phone the Fed and ask them to post you out some information on this.

Also ask them what banks they are working in conjunction with, to help homeowners, then phone the bank or go into that bank.I have a mortgage with Chase. How can I get help from the Fed to get lower rates, principal, payment?
The Fed is doing the refinances not chase. You will need to call their loss mitigation department. I believe the number 1-800-919-1351 this will transfer you there. I used to work there.

FYI- If you are out of work they will NOT help you!

You will need 2 of your most current paystubs

a letter explaining why you need a modification

a summary of the debts that you pay each month so they can come up with a debt to income ratio.

This is not for people who want it it's for people who need it and they will tell you as much.

I don't have any info on the HOPE program other than you need to be in foreclosure, with Chase you don't need to be infact they'd prefer you weren't
The ';Feds'; are helping banks...not homeowners.

You need to deal with Chase directly for any relief.
refinance like the rest of us.
